May 2018: What I’ve Been Up To

jakarta-1-2

Most of my May wasn’t too terribly interesting, as I continued living and working in the suburbs of Jakarta. Highlights from the first part of the month included watching Deadpool 2 and Solo, visiting a few new malls, and eating some good vegan food.

Mendut Monastery

Our sunrise tour of Borobudur Temple was one of the highlights of our Christmas trip, and we were eager to make it back and see more of the surrounding area.

Idul Fitri Fireworks

This month’s update is coming to you from Yogyakarta! Josh and I loved it here so much when we came here in December that we decided to come back here for our last holiday and to celebrate Josh’s 25th birthday. It’s been an excellent trip so far, and I’ll have some Yogya posts coming up over the next few weeks! For now, here’s my July wrap-up.
