Returning to My Beloved Cincinnati

DSC_0012

For more than a year and a half–ever since I moved to Florida–I have been wanting to visit Ohio. I made plans to return on almost every break I’ve had, but something always came up and I always ended up just staying in Florida for my holidays.

We’ll Always Have Louisville

Louisville architecture

First, let me just inform you that the original title of this post was “Something Turret Home About” but I decided to spare you all the awful architecture pun and instead infuse this post with a sprinkle of Casablanca quotes. You’re welcome! Now on to the details of my next adventure.

La Grange: Definitely on Track

La Grange

Back on the road after our stop in Carrollton, Josh and I marveled at what a great time we’d had wandering around a new place. High Above Cincinnati

I don’t think it will surprise anyone when I say I LOVE to travel. But it’s impossible to visit new places as often as I would like, so instead, I frequently try to see my own home from a new angle. That’s exactly what I did on my first day back in Cincinnati this year.

Riverfest in Cincinnati

In the past, my family has always used the three-day weekend of Labor Day to visit my grandparents in Indiana. I was too busy to go this year, but I did have a chance to spend an evening at Cincinnati’s Labor Day celebration with my friend Jerod.
